Thank you so much. Not that old. I’m still working on the other house. Just got done grading the backyard as we speak. However, I’m just waiting on the permit for the front house, and then the videos start on that one. Thanks again

Is it ok to remove a 220 breaker and install a 20 amp since 220 is no longer needed?

That's a big question. You'll need sure you know where those wires are going. But the fast answer is yes you can by just using one of the hots. If it was the other way around it would be a simple NO.

One supplied a wall heater(omitted). This line is now going to supply 6 new outlets. The other wire goes to a ceiling heater/fan in a bathroom(specs ask for 20 amps breaker. Hmmm no more room in the panel for another breaker!

All sounds good but for something like without being there and seeing it, it’s really hard to say what to do. But if you’re removing a 220 two pole breaker that frees up two breaker spaces

Yeah kinda was. However, the town would not allow me to remove and rebuild. So I rebuilt like 89% and it's now rented and bringing in money.

@@Askmediy Gotta be NJ or NY. I watched anothr YTr and he ran into the same thing. WHY? He HAD TO leave a length of crappy foundation wall in and built up the rest. Who did the electrical on this bungalow?
