One thing about parfums vintage you have to give it time, it grows on you. I was disappointed with pineapple vintage intense and x batch intense after the first use but after a few uses it performed really well. But like any other cologne it does not work for everyone but I am happy I got it

What i don't like about Parfums Vintage is that they are not available at a few retailers so that you can easily test them, You need to order samples all the time. I like PVI and Emperor edp. I sampled Aventus Cologne and the more i wear it, the more i like it. Its not the best performer but scentwise its really good and it gets compliments. Its a kind of freshness that many people like.

Got a sample and wasn't overly impressed. They did very well with Emperor and Emperor Extrait; the rest of the Pineapple Vintages don't impress me at all.

Excellent review Steven! Parfums Vintage has become one of my favorite houses and my collection of their fragrances has grown quite a bit since I discovered them. I have yet to try this one as I already have a few of their Aventus inspired fragrances. The new Intense Gold they recently released is probably my favorite so far.

A fresh cologne-like version actually makes this sound like their most interesting Aventus inspired offering. I do however (maybe because the piercing ambroxin?) find the original (non-intense) PV to be pretty fresh, but it definitely can choke out a room at the same time; unlike Rush of Unicorns which is lighter and more transparent and more fresh. This sounds something like that.

I always support you sir and I generally steer away from any negativity. However, this is a terrible company with an equally awful and arrogant owner. All of the customer complaints thru the years can’t be simply coincidence. The prices are also laughable for clones but everyone is free to spend their money as they see fit. Both are fantastic! I find Aelxandria II to be a tad sweeter and not as spicy. For me, it would all depend on the mood I'm in. For this season, I think Oud for Greatness would do better.

The professionalism and with the amount of aventus flankers from the DNA you bring interest to why Emperor Napoleon when there are many other options out there. In the frag community I think content is generated when a frag has a place and a hybrid of both sounds better than tweeked Aventus DNA
