I agree first time I smelled it, it was love at first sniff. The sales lady described it as smelling like earth after it rains mixed with fresh cut oranges. There’s something truly special about this fragrance. Excellent review, very professional and educational.

I really wanted to buy this one for my dad for his upcoming birthday. He still buys the original vintage that I got him years ago but unfortunately I couldn't find this at discounters yet (also Notino looks like they're still updating their site) so I got Artisan Aqua instead. I'm cheap so I'd hate to pay retail especially since they become so HEAVILY discounted once they hit those sites. Great to see you back professor. Always a pleasure seeing once your reviews.

I think what sets Flores-Roux apart is his liberal use of herbal greens in his fragrances like sage, basil, pine, juniper, palmarosa, cypress and others. This tends to give his freshies a slightly more mature or old school feel, but I love that about Varvatos. It's a modern blast from the past and remains my second favourite designer house, despite its reputation for poor longevity.

3 years late, but I just found a bottle of this at TJ Maxx today for $40. I understand it's discontinued, so I had to pick it up. Can't believe how utterly citrusy this is. Bergamot, lemon, key line, mandarin orange. I wanted something for the ultra hot summer days coming up, and this may just do the trick. Looking forward to putting it through its paces!

Hey Stephen i got this a few months ago and omg its a good one from John Varvatos, It kinda reminds me of English Leather but its way cleaner and more bright, Lovely juice man and it last forever, Was in the hospital for a few days and had this in my bag for my stay, Nurses went nuts over it so the ladies will love it, One stopped by Macys on her way home and picked it up for her husband lol, Love the sent great review

Of the ones you listed, the classiest one would be the Eau Sauvage. There are also a ton of other Hermes fragrances that are citrus dominant and very classy.

Very nice review! First one I have seen on this fragrance! I had a sample for a few days. The scent is real quality but it just didn't last as long as I hoped it would. Each time it would die after 3 hours. I'm a little disappointed about that but nonetheless great scent.

Hi Steven, I've been binge watching a lot of cologne videos and I feel quite overwhelmed. I find the top 10/list style videos the best in order to understand a lot of information quickly and I'm trying to get a budget cologne (ideally under $30) that is versatile for school, as well as the evening/date night scenarios. Right now, I'm leaning to Montblanc Invidiuel, Nautica Voyage, and Armaf Club de Nuit. They all seem to top lists and are popular but I can't decide between which one.
