I recently purchased Galloway. It was one of the fragrances included in the Discovery set, and thought it had a unique smell that i really liked. But i must say Layton is still my favorite.

Hey if you don't mind answering a question, I'm planning to get myself one of the pdms and I live in hotter climate around 85 degrees and I'm just wondering if layton is good for hot weather or if I should get something else, thx!

@@mikec5349 Steven just put out another video on versatile PDM fragrances last week. He mentioned Layton on there but did say he wore it more in the fall and winter. It is sweeter and i can understand that, but i do wear it in the summer. Maybe it can be more of a summer evening fragrance if you prefer. I say wear what you like when you like.

Great list, Steven! Believe it or not, I can actually pull Kalan off in the summer too. For some reason, the blood orange is the prominent note on my skin, and it provides enough freshness to make it work! I really need to get a bottle of Sedley one day!

Great video! I think that Percival is definitely a safe bet for an everyday wear to work fragrance. Would you please do a similar video for Creed? I think that Virgin Island Water and Aventus are the best for the summertime.

Good review. My current favorite PDM for summer is Galloway, I have Sedley but not yet bonded with it. Layton I wouldn't use on a hot summer day but have used for summer evenings.

Sedley performance has definitely been fixed! Sedley and Galloway would be my top choices for summer for sure. I really enjoy both. It is striking how long Galloway lasts, especially as a fresh fragrance. Percival is also a good choice, but not one I've picked up yet. Nice video!!

Love galloway.. i can smell its scent even if have an N95 face mask on.. Got compliments too.. Sedley is way too soft for me. 2 hours and its just a skin scent.

I own a few...Kalan, Herod, Percival, Layton, and Layton Exclusif (with Kalan being the one I keep gravitating most to) and I'm so excited for this Masterclass. 2020’s Sedley still does not last long for me, sadly. I like the opening, smell kind of like detergent, but I do like the freshness of it, but pretty much goes away in under an hour and becomes a skin scent. I like Galloway though, for summer, I prefer it over Layton. Haven’t smelled Layton exclusif, but difficult to dethrone Carlisle as winter fragrance.

Redolessence amazing video. Loved it. I was definitely expecting it to be honest. You know, I own Layton and I absolutely love it. It’s actually been going toe-to-toe with Creed Silver Mountain Water for the fragrance I enjoy the most as well as my most complimented fragrance. And I’m still waiting on a “discovery set” if you will which includes Galloway, Persival, Pegasus, and Kalan and I’m so exited already. If I end up liking at least one I’ll definitely get a full bottle. I also know how Sedley smells and it’s so pleasant and great scent overall IMO but I want to try the rest before committing to a new Parfums De Marly full bottle. Can’t really take a risk and Blind Buy a niche fragrance at the moment...

Layton is my fav from the house, very versatile. Also own Oajan and Herod (which I feel may have been reformulated - great longevity - very soft close to the skin tho unless I bathe in it lol). My summer lineup is pretty much set, but I may check ut a sample of Sedley - sounds pleasant.
