Thank you to Mathias of Spiegler USA for giving me the torque settings. I have now set the torque to 20 nm and I love these risers. Highly recommend!

I put 15mm on because that is as far as the hydraulic lines would allow without being replaced. I would prefer at least 35mm, but the lines would have to be changed, both clutch and brake.

redonKiLaus i have just undone the brake line splitter between the forks and that let the brake lines fit a 35mm riser kit.

Hi thanks for the nice video--very informative. Would you recommend the 15, the 25, or the 35 mm LSL risers now that you've had a chance to try the 15 mm?
@mr92fs111 жыл бұрын
Hi Mr. rendonKiLaus, Thank you for your videos, they are great. Quick question. I would like at least 35mm also. Are you sure that the factory lines would only allow a 15mm riser only? Someone just commented here that they were able to install the 35mm risers. What do you think?
@redonKiLaus11 жыл бұрын
At 15mm, my lines are stretched to their limit when you turn the steering from side to side. I even tried loosening the line going to the ABS module on the front fork, and it is set in there in a way that it can't be moved. Thanks for watching!

Hi, FYI my mechanic just installed the Genmar risers on my 2011 GSX1250FA. These raise the bars up 1" (25mm) and back 1 3/8" (34mm). We did have to change out the brake line with the one provided (part number S121), but other than that, they work great! No problems turning the bars or locking them. I had him install Oxford heated grips as well. With both options, I'm really lovin' my bike! Thx for all of the great videos. Which forum do you frequent the most if we wanted to as some specific questions?

I don't have any info on these anymore...wouldn't be shocked if discontinued since these bikes weren't made in huge numbers. Thanks for watching!

Sir, i called Spiegler.. you seem to know more about their products than they do. I have a 2104 GSX 1250 FA SE. They couldn't tell me which risers I need to purchase. Could you advise me. thx j mitchell

If you're looking for the LSL risers, it appears that they may have been discontinued. Lots of companies make the risers (or at least did when I got mine), though, so you should not have any problems finding them. You might want to try STG (Sport Track Gear) and look for risers for a GSX1250FA/GSX650F/Bandit 1250, as any of those should be compatible. Alternatively, you could call Spiegler again and see if they have anything for a Bandit. Also, if you don't mind changing out your hydraulic lines, you can get an entire kit from STG to raise the handle bars more than 15-20mm. Metrick Metal also makes risers for the GSX bikes, so you can get them from there as well. I have used quite a few of their products and have spoken to the owner personally, and they are a great company; if I were getting risers now, I would probably go for Metrick Metal.

Check the Spiegler USA website and they still offer LSL risers. Go to "Handlebar Riser Clamps". Your bar should be 7/8" diameter, but measure it to be sure. We used the 15mm riser without pullback, because our brake and clutch lines were so tight. However, I plan to go with a taller riser with pullback soon, and we will make a video on it at that time. I will also need to change my brake and clutch lines for longer ones. Thanks for watching our videos! I may even go with an LSL complete kit but have to investigate if any of the models listed share the same top triple tree.

Did these make much of a difference to your back or wrist angles?
@redonKiLaus9 жыл бұрын
Jimmy Pinchin They certainly help with comfort, but just don't expect it to be like riding a touring bike. For me, there is enough of a difference for it to be a fair bit more comfortable than stock, but my BMW is more comfortable still. Thanks for watching!

redonKiLaus Thanks, I ended up going with the 20mm from SW Motech and they feel great. I still have a little wiggle room with the clutch line, but the brake line is at it's max...I'm glad I didn't go any higher. Cheers.

Are all you guys short arses, I have the same bike, and find the standard bars, are very comfortable as they are. I think this is a great bike, but why the hell, would you want two of them.
