Matthews has 150 more goals in 30 less regular season games and has a better ppg in playoffs. Heck Matthews has scored 1 less goal in 16 less playoff games (mainly because Leafs can't get out of rd1, but that's besides the point.) Matthews on the Panthers this year instead of Tkachuk, and they win the cup with ease. Tkachuk on the Leafs instead of Matthews....They're the Washington Capitals (at a push).

@@bignick6880 Nothing. Matthews is 39th in the league since 2016 in playoff points per 60 and 46th in the league since 2016 in goals per 60. Massive gap between regular season and playoff performance. Matthews is horrendously overpaid for what he produces in the playoffs.

100% agree that mcavoy is harder to play against than fox. Not taking anything away from fox, unbelievable player. Also, zero change I take an elite LW ( franchise player arguably) over a 6’3” franchise center. Aren’t centers usually more coveted anyway? Definitely enjoy the redrafts boys keep em coming!

Imo if they could go back and chose Rantanan over Marner and then Tkachuk over Matthews i think the Tkachuk/Rantanan core would be way more successful then the Marner/Matthews one has been. That's 2 stanley cup champions right there.
