The issue is that, games that care more about money took over since roblox shares their views. Eventually, actual good games like Robloxity, town of Robloxia, survive the disasters and others were left behind, not by the fanbase but by roblox themselves.

I think catalog heaven had a bug in it where when someone played a audio, it would crash the server. Someone found this bug and used bots to destroy the game. The devs patched it but no one played it anymore.

About the Avectus situation, i heard rumours that he was scamming developers (by not paying them for contributing to the game). Which eventually led to his ban and consequently, the game also getting banned. Pretty sad since that was one of the top games at the time.

Another game I would like to mention is Captivator by Stormcell. It started dying off in like 2019 I think, because the last time I played it in a full server was 2018, back when the site used Source Sans Pro as the font and the Robux logo was R$ instead of Gotham and a fucking nut, and it had little to no players by 2020. Captivator was actually fun when you could play the game in servers with at least 7 players at any given time of the day. Nowadays it's rare for the game to have 2 players in any server, as most of its time stays at the 0 playing area. I remember playing it for hours on end, and the music was a fucking BANGER. When you top good gameplay off with banger music, you get an excellent game with very obvious potential. It's sad to see that factory-produced garbage games get a shitload of players whereas non-factory produced garbage games that are actually fun and provide a unique experience for the player don't get jack shit.

Hey does anybody know a specific old Roblox game that was horror where you would run away from monsters and you had to lights and supplies around the map.
