Hey All - I just wanted to update you on where I've been, I've been EXTREMELY busy behind the scenes there will be an announcement soon regarding it all. I have been running on just a few hours sleep to get content ready, my apologies but let me assure you, I am very much still here and active! It'll all make sense soon :). Today's video wasn't planned, I had to change things up and that is why there is less editing and 'theatrics' than usual. But I hope you enjoy it non the less. I did try to create a good piece of art in the time permitted. I look forward to sharing whats happening real soon! Stay Safe friends - Anthony

The fact that you love what you do is what makes your channel so special, and is the reason I subscriped. A lot of other youtubers are good at drawing, but your joy is what makes the content pop. Keep doing you! And Rayman was and still is close to my heart to this day.

"I've never been happier than I am today..." ♥ I recently found some drawings that I did at age 11 as well, and this was my exact sentiment when I looked at them side-by-side with the professional paintings I create now, nearly 25 years later. And it IS emotional because you feel so much gratitude, not just for how far you've come, but also how much further you hope you can continue to go.

I'm afraid I do not recognize this character or game because I, for one, am not as old as you (just kidding). Happy birthday!! It's really so touching to see how much you love your work, it's inspirational, and I really appreciate the comparisons between old and new. Seeing how much you've improved has really inspired me to keep trying at my own work, and you've taught me multiple wise and valuable ways to view making art. You're amazing man, happy birthday, and thank you for sharing your skills with the world!!

The coloring on this redraw is so outstanding! The claw actually looks like the metal is wet and could be dripping off the tines! Just everything is perfect 🤩 I don’t know what you did differently but this one stands out leagues above all the others! Wow 🤩 🥰😍😎👍

Relating so much to your experience with art growing up! It was pencil and paper, and either acrylic or cheap kids watercolour paints. That was it. None of the fun and fancy supplies that are widely available now 😂 and the only art resources we had were Art Attack and SMart on the telly, or art lessons at school once a week. Thats it! On top of this though i had my parents telling me that tracing or "copying" was cheating 🤔😒😑 so glad these are now recognised as tools and not cheats 😂

The reason I love this channel so much is that your not just a KZbinr that give no emotion during drawing, they just draw. With you it’s totally different as it’s enjoyable to watch you draw cause you can express it so much better then some youtubers. Anyways I love the drawing ray man was one of my favorite games to play with my old friends!

I don't think I would want to be born in today's society, but I do wish we had the access to learning that they do now. I didn't even learn about alcohol markers until about 4 years ago. I didn't even get my first set till about 3 years ago. I would have loved to have them as a child, but they certainly weren't a thing where I was growing up. Happy Birthday, I hope you have a great birthday!

Listening to your process when you were younger just brought back my own memories of recording Dragonball Z off Cartoon Network (ON VHS!!! Wow! So many wows! Rayman! It's your birthday buddy! Think about how many well wishes are being extended to YOU from across the world! For your birthday I will share with you the words one of my mentors said that changed my life in such a positive way: "Focus on the effort, not the result." If you work hard and put the hours in, the rewards come to you. With that said; YOU have put in the time and effort, YOU have shown your work, and YOU deserve all of the rewards! I know I didn't put the pencil in your hand. And trust getting older. If you're paying attention to your imagination and passions you'll realize your still a playful child. You're not getting older, your only getting wiser. Happy day to you ADC... I hope you spare no expense! Xoxoxo (And selfishly, thanks for the flood of memories of Rayman. Los of emotions! Thank you.) Oh! Did i mention the drawing was incredible? ;)

That is terrific! Never heard of Rayman 1,2 or 3, but the image really pops. Yes you can get better at drawing or using colour, but it is having encouragement and being taught tips and tricks. Never had a school teacher who knew there were different types of graphite pencils, so I learned despite them. Learnt a lot from an old man who ran a 'junk' shop, or an Aladdin's Cave to me, who showed me techniques to achieve texture, shading and so on. He also let me and a few of us read the American comics. I still have the pencil he gave me. 🙂💝

Happy Birthday ADC! If it were not for you, I would not have someone as amazing, funny, witty or light hearted to show guidance in this area of expertise that you provide the world through your videos on this channel. Celebrate well. I loved the ray man games growing up seeing this redraw was awesome. My only criticism that I have for the art is very minor but I think your redraw would have jumped out more and looked more spectacular if you had added a background to drawing.. Nonetheless, it is amazing to see your evolution. You have an amazing taste in different things, you are totally open minded and relaxed about what you do, and that is always an amazing thing about your content. So always keep doing what you're doing. You deserve all the support. Also as a sidenote I would also like to see a series of videos where you take on particular drawings digitally, rather than sticking to traditional media if that makes sense. Good luck to future successes and goals of yours. Hope you achieve the things you want in the future, you are a champ and boss, as well as a teacher to many. Much appreciate your time and work. Thank you so much

Have you tried using a light blue pencil for your layout or base sketch? I have started using one & it does erase much cleaner than regular pencils do & you don't need to trace your original drawing onto another piece of paper.

Sometimes when you use colors though you can mess up your drawing if you do it wrong or can’t have the right shadow color because that happens to me but if you keep trying it will get a lot better.btw I loved your picture

Over a canon? Was that in Rayman 3? I gotta play that again. I just remeber that near the end of the game you had to collect crowns and the was a part where you had to sidestep-shoot around a glass wall to get across in a very limited amount of time which was the hardest thing for me in that game.
