I Miss Motorbikeling!

It's been 6 months, and this is only my third time out on a bike. Including all the time I didn't ride when I was pregnant, it's starting to feel like years since I rode regularly! I miss motorbikeling!
(by the way I realise motorbikeling is not in the dictionary)

I can tell you all about how you manage with twins. We have 5 kids. The twins were our last pregnancy. We had 5 kids under 5 when they came into the world. My wife had an emergency C section to get the 2nd twin out (so she has the wonderful distinction of having one natural and one C at the same time). She was bed ridden for almost 2 months after. The key is, you set the schedule! You feed them both at the same time, you change them at the same time. It was like a assembly line for awhile and was the fastest 3 months of our lives. You manage. And then after some time, you get to ride again! We love our kids, but we love our rides without them as well! Enjoy the baby stage, it's over way to quickly.

Six months is a great time. She'll start moving around on her own soon and that's when you worry about every pin on the floor. You'll vacuum all the time because you worry about what she'll put in her mouth, etc. Enjoy each part of her development. You have a great attitude and your daughter will became a wonderful person. Remember not to ride exhausted though. One thing I never understood is how people didn't endlessly complain about the lack of sleep. And breast feeding makes it that much harder. Literally pulls from your body. I don't think I felt rested for years after having children. But babies put what's important in perspective. Mine are grown and out of the house now. Yesterday they were crawling of the floor. And motorbiking (is that an English term?) for me is a way to keep enjoying life, though a recent discovery for me. Best to you and your baby. It's a wonderful time and and as she grows it will bring new stages of development and different adventures into your life. But keep the biking up as best you can. Women need something that's ours to help keep us sane. And sanity makes us better moms.

Taking care of one kid is hard enough but taking care of 3 kids is even tougher which is what my mom and dad did with my brother, my sister, and myself.

I remember my twin girls in the early days..... up every 2 hrs to bottle feed at night, out to work at 5.30am, back home at 3pm to have my girls thrust at me with the words "here, have your children- I've looked after them all day", feed them dinner, bath them, then bedtime. Shave, shower, 2hrs sleep, then start again.

It's all about relationship and friendship isn't it. I'm sorry about your friend, Renna. Jesus died to make friendship with God possible for us. May I be so bold as to suggest you read the gospel of John in the Bible in a version easy to follow like the new living translation? You might find what you are looking for. I can tell Phil understands your love of riding. He seems a great guy. Hopefully your baby will start to enjoy the car rides. She is only tiny at 6 months. You sound like you really love her. I hope one day you can both go riding together on a long trip. And take the camera along too...
