I would love to see you make a poppy. I know they’re simple, but they are so beautiful. Also, i have a niece who loves tulips. I would like to make a painting for her of tulips on canvas. What i have in mind is maybe a nine by twelve canvas. I want three tulips, placed at an angle from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. I want the tulips to be hmmm, i think one yellow, with the other two red, with touches of yellow in the center of the petals and at the top edges of the tulips. I see the stems as quite long, with maybe a single leaf. What i haven’t figured out yet is (1) should i make the tulips, then glue them on? Or do i attempt forming them directly onto the prepared canvas? I would love to see you do a demo on this. Thank you so much for considering my idea.
@RedRockingBird2 жыл бұрын

Hi Sarah, thank you for this awesome video! I have been thinking of trying to make flowers with home made air dry clay but not using Das for it as I think it would fall apart. Lol. Love your video! What is the width of your petals? I've read somewhere that the thinner your project the more likely it is that air-dry clay will crack so you have to make it at least a 1/4 of an inch thick.
@RedRockingBird2 жыл бұрын
yes I normally say not to go thinner than a quarter inch too, but this was a challenge and the first ones are a new version/brand of air drying clay, the second one i made is regular air dry clay and although i made them, they were very very fragile this thin yes.
