If you have movement in the crankshaft, then maybe your front bearing is worn out. The conrod is free to move it can touch the back plate I don't think this thing is going to do anything just more thing to go wrong more money for nothing sorry.

@@ekj24000tried one and it was useless, worked great for a few tanks, now it’s hard to tune idle, threw it in the bin and put the standard one back in and no problems since 🤷‍♂️ Maybe I got a bad one but it was enough for me to make my mind up about them

@@TimsRcsurgery sorry to hear that bruha, I have two back plates on on two 521,over two years, with no issues, what the spinning back plate does it reduce flame out by crankshaft hitting the back plate, you should have sent it back to Red's, to replace it, if it was defective or you could have sent it to me, either way it would have been fixed, just keep that in mind

Reds the king of gimics, lol they have a huge history of producing products the just look good if you told me it tunes better or idles better or gives you better bottom mid or top or even better fuel mileage I'd be sold but a little more efficient lol not worth the coin plus yes more chance for air leaks and bearing failure! I love alot of there products but some make no sense for what they charge I own 7 reds engines and there one favorites and everyone knows you plug them because they sponsor you and everyone also that reds engines are manufactured by pico, thanks for sharing 👍
