Good to see the return of two Combined Arms Academy boxes. The more officer columns, the better. Always a treat to watch the combined Ground Forces regiment marching to In Defence of Motherland, it invokes Soviet feelings for sure! Disappointing, however, to see that the Saratov Military Institute still isn’t making an appearance. Their marching & uniforms were on point in previous parades. Hopefully ODON takes up the reins and puts a box in dress uniforms.

I want the modern parades arranged like the soviet parades. First the drummers, then the officer parade, then airforce, navy followed by the infantry and lastly the cadets from the 3 services. The 3 stanza anthem should be back too. The 1985 may 9 parade is my favourite.

Depends on money. There was a green design which closely resembled the 50s tunic which was revealed alongside the standing-collar officer uniform but which hasn’t been introduced yet. I suspect the parade uniform of enlisted troops was cut due to post-Crimea sanctions as costs were cited.

@@finnharris6779 Yes I saw that on RedSamurai's Facebook Page. This enlisted uniform is displayed with officer's uniforms which have already been adopted by the Russian Armed Forces. Since 2019 parade, I also saw some enlisted troops wearing boots (soldiers from the Moscow Higher Military Command School for example) with the office uniform. Maybe these boots are currently used to anticipate this future uniform ?
