This parade is already controversial among the pro-Western audience because of the inclusion of "NKVD" troops, however this is straight up misinformation. The "NKVD" units on parade are in fact Internal Troops (riot police). The fact that some people are trying to portray this event as "glorification" of well know executioners in Russian history is beyond disgusting. It's almost cynical, because the NKVD had a multitude of umbrella organizations under its control. This includes Police officers, Internal troops, Border Troops, and Fire fighters (which were also on parade). That's unless they're trying to imply that the Soviet Fire Department was responsible for Katyn massacre. 😆
