A little detail I noticed that may or may not be relevant or intentional: Light, is of course, a counterpart to Shadow, whose namesake has his hedgehog quills at a noticable downwards tilt compared to Sonic. Light, in contrast, has those same quills, but they are tilted upwards instead, to indicate the "opposite" nature Light is to Shadow. Pretty cool.

completely 180 vibe wise to self paced but man, all the chord changes sound great for the feel of this song, a softer version of the original. also kinda sounds slower? i know it's the same bpm but the changes just makes this one sound calmer but still with the serious sections like 4:00 for example and MAN 4:30 still goes hard af, tho i think if you kept/ added more instruments on top of each others to fill it out more then it would go crazy. For being a bonus track to self paced, this fits perfectly. Don't think the song could have been another way tbh, you nailed the vibe for this one red.

I hope you know that this song is still really good despite what others say about it. It may have been a simple rearrangement to your original self-paced, but that's the whole charm of it, right? We can tell you had fun making this, and it shows with the changes you've made in certain scenes. People expected this to be an all-out remix without listening to what you had to say, and it's a shame that some things other people said came off bitter.
