I just got this 4K Action Cam. It has similar features to my GoPro Hero 4! Not as solid or heavy as the GoPro and the audio is weak but otherwise works fine for 1/3 of the price! Am also using all the mounting accessories in the bundle for my GoPro, except for the battery, charger and external mic. The 4K Action Cam is an excellent value for the price for the beginner

Thanks for the review! One question: do you see the same, especially with 1080p 30fps: the lens focus is not ok? It seems like the raindrops in the windshield are sharper than the buildings. The windshield should not blur the image. I just hope the sensor is better than shown in the test. Cheers!

most of these cameras...don't focus on what they should focus... water on the windshield is not the perfect example for how well the camera films... too many elements happening in the same time

Redskull I forgot to add if it really is out of focus, it can be fixed at home. It may be good idea to open up the camera first to see how much glue there is at the lens thread. Then try turning the lens. Some say just use force... About manufacturing: I assume that skipping the labor intensive checking and calibration is a good way to reduce costs. Good product is more than the sum of good components.

From that raindrops on your car's windscreen it looks like the lens isn't installed properly and the focus point isn't set to infinity, in fact, it is a bit closer, so all objects a bit out of fucus. You cauld try to rotate lens, maybe it will let to make the image sharper.

Redskull actually, the lens itself is under a plastic hood) It's fixed, but the lens under it is not. But to rotate it you have to disassemble the whole front part of the camera, it's a bit scary)

I bought the non-4k last year from same maker and it was terrible as far as the battery. By the second day the battery made it about 3 minutes recording before dumping. It is with AVI, is there a way to upgrade the firmware and to replace this Firmware with another one and to work with MOV files after the installation??? got mine today. mine has a blue package. im pretty sure you get a white if you buy the one without remote. i bought without because it was cheaper and i dont Need it but i got that rc Version now anyway. for 30€ didnt seems bad but after the first tests i say the Video in 1080 is somehow bad. there is visible aliasing. 2k somehow look much better and it look like its really 30fps. but 4k i Count 22fps. dont know how they manage to make the Video apears as 30fps but ist not even 15 fps, it is really 22 different Pictures in 1 second without anything double. have to take a closer look on it the next days. didnt really expectet that 4k to be usefull, but that the 1080 Looks so bad bothers me.

can you look for your Firmware date and provide some sample footage? 1080/60 , 2.7 and 4k. just some seconds of original footage right from the cam uploaded to a cloud? want to look on it. right now it Looks to me that my cams native Resolution is 2.7 and the 1080 is a bad downscale. maybe i have to open and look on the Chipset.

For taking still pictures it's lousy, the pics are distorted warped and light in the background or low light is awful however the video quality seems to be very nice. Still panoramic pics can be good outdoors. My 2 cents.

As a video cam it is decent for the price as for pics, take a few and post them. You'll see they are warped using the wide angle fish eye lens but then down samples doesn't keep it as a wide panorama view. +Redskull great job, great review! It says "Micro SD UP TO 64GB" on the manual (without mentioning SD/SDHC/SDXC). Can you confirm this camera supports SDXC? Also, which is the maximum size you tried?

how to lock or protect video in memory card when loop recording enable? i has seen that key symbol before this but when i tried again, i cant find it.

no, not this one...if you check out the Amkov 7000 s on my channel you will see that that one has a remote
