I installed the Z26 pads & rotors on my 2016 Charger RT & was very impressed. Stock pads & rotors would feel mushy after 45K miles n squeal even though I replaced the pads. Brake dust is now almost non-existent on my rims. After quitting the mechanic field, these are a no brainer! Go get a kit of pads & rotors. Best $500 I invested on my car. I have about 100K mile on the kit n it is only halfway through the pad life. Thanks!

Got the same pads on my SS but stock rotors (replaced the pads very early on in car life). Absolutely love them and same pads will go back on when these are done. While not full on track use, I've used them in autox with no issue. I agree with you though, initial bite is less but still plenty of stopping power to kick in ABS.

I put these on my 2003 Range Rover, great stoppage over stock, but tons of dust and noisy before they warm up, but yes they STOP!

Hey great review and video. I have been looking at doing this on my 17, I’m at 33,000 miles and can’t stand the brake dust. Rotors look great on car and glad to hear that the pads work as promoted.

How are the pads and rotors now? Do you still feel the pulsating pedal?.

It's all holding up surprisingly well. Pulsating pretty much disappeared.

Pulsation through brake pedal is not the cross hole drilled rotors. It's warped rrearr rotors or the ABS unit having slight kick in, or in some cases the coatings wearing/bedding. Cross drilled/slotted/solid all behave the same way with feel on the pedal, unless damaged.

Wow it’s been two years since the brake kit install? How has it held up? Do you remember how much you paid for the install?

It’s held up well, and still good amount of pad left - around 7mm on front, 6 in the back. I might think about replacing them anyway at some point for peace of mind.

Not really sure you should be feeling pulsation. Im very much against a stock diameter drilled or even a slotted rotor. But its your car and you can do what you want. Having said that, pulsation is due to either pad deposits or a rotor that has too much run out (an over heated, warped rotor in some cases). Drilled holes and slots should not change the profile of the rotor in terms of run out or how flat and true it spins.

MikeyBeans87 so maybe the rotors are defective? I just had them installed this week and maybe 200 miles on them now. Hmmm. I’ve heard various opinions about whether or not I should feel those “bumps” or not. Some say it’s normal on slotted and drilled ones. So, due to the subtle bump/pulse whatever it is lol during very hard braking, what would you recommend I buy instead of these?

If it’s only happening on aggressive braking, that’s because it’s engaging ABS..maybe?

I noticed I felt a pulsation at first too, but think the anti corrosion coating was to blame and once the pad wore though this coating on its contact area the pulsing went away

That pulsating you feel when braking hard is most likely you ABS kicking in, you're not going to feel cross drill rotor holes in the brake pedal.

The pulsating seemed to happen on moderate braking as well, but it went away fairly soon after this video. 50K miles later, still working well 👍🏼

Yes just power stop pads and rotors. Been running them well for about 25K miles so far. Daily driving and the occasional track time. Doing good so far.

No sir, that what you feel in your pedal is not the characteristics of drilled rotors. You've got something else going on in there. You might of got them to hot breaking them in and now they're WARPED or they're not balanced from factory.

Thanks for the input, strangely enough the braking ended up feeling normal soon after I did this video. I got about 45K miles out of them and switched to EBC pads and rotors about a year ago.

How are the Ebc vs the power stop . To be honest your review makes the power stop sounds like trash and you were trying to cope because that’s what you bought

PowerStop was good but the EBC felt better to me as far as bite, especially after some spirited driving.
