You are newly found to me in the past month or so. I wasn’t sure my “style” matched yours, but as you have told us, do what works for you. I have made sticker pages and used them to make some tags and made the accordion folder which now stores the background I want to use next for making cards. I have learned so much from your videos and watch them start to finish. There are always bits that I glean and then take to my craft room. Thank you so very much!

Hello Ceri…it’s Cari! I am so very happy you shared this idea!! I am just like you with the OCD and am having a terrible time getting started with master boards. I just so happen to have a similar book as yours that I found at our local thrift shop and now I know how to get started using up my scraps creating pretty usable paper! I’m going to try your way and hope I do half as great as you! Thanks for sharing your ideas! You rock!❤

Thank you Cari, I didn’t mention it in the video but you don’t have to finish a whole page in one go, as it’s in the book you could start several master boards at the same time, using colours or patterns as themes and then when the appropriate scraps come up you can continue to add them.

I just discovered your channel and thus far have enjoyed your relaxed and genuine conversational style. Honestly, I can relate to so many things you describe about yourself and your art style, i.e. "not one to sit around (you took your art journal to Alaska) I am the same, I like to be busy/productive, liking things to line up horizontal or vertical (this is so my style), describing how the scrap pile can get out of hand (so true). I am definitely going to tackle a masterboard like this. I did one with scrap fabric and lace recently and it turned out so well. So fun. You seem like a genuinely nice kind person and I look forward to more of your art videos. I'm not super big into "mixed media" but I understand the appeal-maybe I become a convert! :) I pray you have the best day ever!

I'm fine watching a process video that is done end to end. I have to agree, I don't always like to see a sped up video. I watch videos because I want to see the way you folks do things. Sped up, we may totally miss something that we might find helpful. I do have favorite folks that do occasionally speed up, but then, I'll just put my volume down. With the CC on, I can tell when they are speaking again, so I'll turn up the volume again. But then, my favorites don't tend to replay the same single or two over and over, they have a good selection. What boggles my mind is how folks will tell you how You should do Your videos.😏. I'm happy to have You do You. We can decide if we have time to watch the whole show. And, I can always watch the rest later, while cuddling with our furbabies.😊
