Bio: Jamie Kirkham is a Professor and Centre Lead for Biostatistics at The University of Manchester. In May 2022, he will take on the role as the Head of Division for Population Health, Health Services Research and Primary Care. His research focuses on statistical and methodological research for clinical trials and systematic reviews. He has expertise in outcomes based research, particularly in the field of core outcome set (COS) development and outcome reporting in clinical trials. He is also interested in study misconduct, associated biases and the potential impact these failings have on evidence-based decision-making, when important outcomes from studies are not measured or selectively reported. Jamie is also a statistical editor for The BMJ.
