that's what I love about listening to this album. It shows the effort she put, especially being the oldest of the 10 year group. Showing something new and outside the scope of Red Velvet music. Rather than just dumping some easy listening songs or some trendy songs and calling it a day, the album is so well thought into and well produced, each song stands out on its own, and if you understand korean, the lyrics are so self affirmative ( I Feel Pretty is my fav!)

Quiet people are often misunderstood. Irene, for instance, isn’t very talkative and rarely expresses what’s on her mind that's why she often get misunderstand also add the fact that she have a naturally cold face and aura which makes people assume she doesn’t care about anything or she's being rude when in fact that's her normal face which is actually sad too because you can see on her actions that she's actually genuine and caring person, she just doesn't express it in words.

@ Exactly. I really identify with her. I feel like she’s a perfectionist and gets really frustrated with herself if things aren’t up to her standard. I think she keeps things bottled up and when something seemingly small happens it can be the last straw that may make her lash out at someone, when really she’s just frustrated with herself. I feel like that’s what happened with the scandal a few years back. Of course, I don’t know her so I could be completely wrong, but this is just the vibe I get.

Red Velvet have been carrying their carreers on their backs since day one. With a lot of blood, sweat and sacrifices, they made RV what they are. Even before watching this documentary, I think we could see bits of Irene that works hard. Knowing she exercises often during RV off days was enough for that, and yet it's still heartwarming to see her work so hard to prepare her solo debut. I love that Irene was so open to something new. Her appreciation of Tyla's performance was so visarile. She trusted the process and those around her. At some point in life dances should be free and not be pushed to the maximum. Irene's words touched me a lot because I feel that she wants to be free. I recently saw her on a KZbin channel and she is so beautiful dancing and happy that is what matters most. 3 in the morning? She should be resting but we know what K-pop is like.
