I assume because Alisa was in the DLC then Lars had to appear and vice-versa. Thought Lars was a weird choice for Kage-Maru also, so if Pai got Xiaoyu then I feel Kage-Maru could've gotten Yoshimitsu (which I don't know could've worked considering the sword). Edit: Disregard this reply. Mixed up Eileen with Pai. Although Yoshimitsu-Kage would still be cool though.
