One of my all time favorites!! I was a Reebok basketball shoe weartester from 1990-1993 and these were one of the last models I tested. We called them the “Shamu’s” 😀.

I love the RbK logo and that era and many do. Due to the rebranding, reebok was able to connect with many youths like me during that time. I love the energy of the brand during that era. Still remeber the g units, atr pump 2.0, Daddy Yankees, answer 9s and many more from that era and they were all dope. RbK was the only reason I became a lifelong fan of the brand. Glad they were still keeping that logo. NBA, NFL, NHL, MFB and most deal happened only during that era. Collaboration with music superstars happened only during that era. They had an amazing partnership with DGK too. Why reebok got sold to Adidas is a completely different issue and has nothing to do with RbK.

Oh man they look sick, they look sick 30 years ago! & look sick today damn! This is a pair I actually had a vintage pair of. I remember being disappointed with the synthetic materials back then, and I was a bit disappointed with a mid foot pump I really want a full foot pumps. One of the strange things I didn't like about this shoe was it only had four laces in the four foot, I really found this shoe to fit rather poorly. These new ones look even worse damn I'm tempted to get some. It would have been about the time this shoe first came out I started to realize that the design philosophies of what I wanted and where Reebok was going were not the same place.
