Yeah. Back in the day, if you had a pair of Pumps you were the shit. No-one could possibly understand unless you were there. Now nothing touches my paws but The Pump. I get stares from everyone wherever I go wearing a pair, doesn't matter what pair I'm wearing everyone notices. Just today I got no less than 20 people looking at them (Green neon TZ's). You don't get that with Jordans. Just ordered a pair of OG 2009 Bringbacks. Can't wait until they arrive. Been waiting for a pair for 34 years. Yeah it's the Polar but I'll get the Pandas eventually. Currently only got 3 pairs but I'm just starting so...... after procrastinating for 34 years.

Great video man. I was born in 83 and all the cool kids either had Reebok Pumps, Jordan’s or Cons React. The Pumps are so iconic. I love my pair of Battleground Aztec Blacktops!

Yep you said it...this was ultimate in 90s! My area also..this was it..yep jordan was taking a back seat..I had this color way ogs with back plastic sticking out..7 th grade I was only kid in school with this model...it was bad as hell! 90s was sooo special gd times dam.

Speaking straight facts! Everyone being sheep to nikey Reebok pumps are way nicer, as someone who didn’t grow up in the pump era I can see for myself that Reebok pump is just simply better than overhyped Nike shoes, great videos keep them coming also have you seen the new legacy lifter 3s they now have a pump system in them and as I am a powerlifter and squat twice a week it just makes so much sense to cop them was wondering if you could do a video on them too thanks keep it up man

I just got a pair of these and have also had 7 pairs of Omni Zone 2's in hand and none of them have had a functioning pump, including the TZ. I'd be real interested to see a video of the pump inflating the tongue.

That's absolutely ridiculous and if that's the case then you have some serious bad luck. Every single pair of Pumps I own from any retro released in the last 10 years has a functional pump. I will make a video and show this as fact. We will go through several pairs and I will show you the tongues pressurized and working on all pairs. Why would I even bullshit about this? I'm one of the biggest Reebok Pump marks out there, so if they didn't work I would be the first one bitching about it.

They finally bring back another og colourway and they go and give us one of them aged midsoles. I hate that. And to make it worse they get rid of the ers. Such a shame as I'd have been all over these. Hopefully they will soon release the og white n blue colourway. I've been waiting a long time for that.

1000 percent true. This is something they haven't gotten right since the OG release. Those OG Pumps were padded AF. I just don't think we are going to ever get it in the retros. And It's not even so much that the tongues are too small, it's that they aren't heavily padded, which is why they were more flat on the front and not curved inward. When you flatten the tongue out it looks more true to form. Without that padding, it's just not possible. There's also a small angle cut on each side of the tongue in the OG's that contributed to that look. We just aren't going to get that unfortunately I don't think.

@@riddictkicks they look ok on foot but it's something I can't get past on these especially. At least the releases seem to be pretty frequent with the Iverson's and Shaq Tennis. Looking forward to more vids. Appreciate the added info! Long live THE PUMP®️

@@riddictkicks I've got some sample twilight zone's from 2004 and the tongues are the same size and shape as the og's. I'm surprised Reebok didn't stick with the same tongue when they finally released the retro in 2009. The branding on the tongue was stitched too on the sample pair. The only thing's missing were a full foot air bladder and the ers logo on the midsole. I'm still miffed about that.😂
