I have the same machine. But it makes a lot of noise at the end as if it was going to break. What to do in this case. Does anyone has the user manual for this please?

No it doesn't. It's all cams and pulleys.

My machine cuts first then make the stitches, have no idea. I am shure my machine is setup wrong. Any tipps are welcome. Thanks

hamansutra there's an adjustment to change that period I'll look in my manual and see if I can give you an answer

Nice one, i love this machine. Hope to find a way this fix this. I remember the first "john reece machine from 1881" was cut the buttonwhole first and made the stitchings. I mean, it works, but our reece 101 usually stitches and made the wholes. Thanks!
