The salary rule tbh for what we generate will need to be implemented barring a few superstars in our team if they existed. We need a few experienced players but we need to be ruthless with a few players that are injury proned and can't conistently perform. I'd sell chilwell, cucurella, Badiashile, Lavia/nkunku/james/fofana(one more season to see if they can be healthy).

Not gonna happen because of these reasons: 1. The owners are here to make money not to win trophies and all of these young players among others who come will be profitable when they will sell the club during the next 8 years 2. These owners are rich dictators especially Behdad Eghbali who don't tolerate anything against their ideas and "philosophy" because they are not used to it and not how they earned money. 3. These things that you mentioned will happen only and only maybe in 1 circumstance: Protesting before the matches yet not going to the stadiums and leaving the seats empty and hurting the club financially. I bet it won't take even 3 matches for them to come and want to talk otherwise just protest or nagging as long as the money is coming in makes 0 difference. Listen to what Simon Jordan said after the trustees letter, the arrogance of rich owners can only be broken if they are hurt financially.

Guni also mentioned the need for a protest and I agree and it will only come from match going fans which is obvious when you think on but what I didn't agree with is that Chelsea fans should follow Strasbourg's example? Do what? No, Chelsea fans should follow Chelsea's fans example, look how Chelsea fans protested against the Mears family where they nearly put Chelsea out of business. Fans were invading the pitch after the match and tearing down the goals, they were definitely heard loud and clear and then the recent protests, against the Ricketts and also against the super league. Honestly speaking, if we are able to revamp the medical team. I wouldn't mind keeping James. The medical team is a shambles right now. One of the ways to fix this club is getting a top medical director and a team filled with experts in sports, physio etc. If we need to POACH from other teams then so be it. Go for top clubs with the best medical team and NOT BRIGHTON. And lastly, MAKE SURE that the medical team have the FINAL say over players when it comes to fitness to play for match, turning up for training and etc. The technical team should NEVER have the final say or any say over the medical team when it comes to the fitness of these players. If we can sort this out, I wouldn't mind James staying rather then selling him because i truly believe there is a player in James.

Mate don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of Reece James when he is playing but with his injury record and the time he takes out injured etc we'd be lucky to get 50p for him no one wants to sign a player that plays hardly any games but I wouldn't like him to leave he needs to start playing though, our bigger players are going to leave if we stay like this 100% Palmer could walk into most teams now and guaranteed we have a big bid the board will sell, Strasbourg have the right idea and I get why they want blueco out I would love to see them leave Chelsea but with the contract etc they had i cant see them selling up, we need change and I can see fans at the ground soon kicking off and its probably going to be sooner than we think
