this was my favorite performance of Reece. Yes the song is SUPPOSED to make you feel uncomfortable. That is the exposure that is this song. I loved this performance, it made me cry, I think it might just be hard to believe by some people that a young man could be so connected to the feeling of loneliness. I think we are eternal beings who can feel everything we open ourselves up to. So I loved this so much and if this is ever read by Reece, I thought this was so beautiful. I am going in order of your shows so I have only seen to live show 8, but I think your so magnificent and I am going to watch the rest then look into what you are doing now as I believe that you are amazing. Your music transcends time it is so touching and emotional.

it was so obvious he didn't want to sing this song, before x factor he was in a screamo band and now singing this makes no sense. but at the same time he killed it, so I have no idea what the judges are on. and for those that didn't know, during that week one of his mates died, so with all that he did a pretty good job for a 16 yr old kid.

It's been three years and I remember this performance of Celine Dion's song by Reese. He was widely criticized by the judges. Closing my eyes and just listening I find a beautiful version with a remarkable vocal performance. Reece was never a common participant was always a trained artist participating in a competition. And the judges? As so often: wrong.

I listened to the song before I heard the judges comments and everyone else's and I thought it was fantastic! I could see that Reece was able to sing softly just as well. My opinion of course. I don't see him as a rock god but only as someone who can make it worldwide if given the opportunity. I loved his voice the first time I heard it!

People forget how young Reece is. No one has been verbally bashed this badly throughout the show. Reece is only 16 and he lookd like he was totally falling apart on the stage when this was happening, but the judges kept going, they kept fighting and they kept bashing his performance. Even when that luke guy saw how this was effecting Reece and came onto the stage to try and stop it, they kept going! This is exactly what happened to Christina! I just hope everyone gets behind Reece.

He is young there is no doubt but he is good enough to make it. If you want to teach kids about respect then show them respect! At this point in their competition they should all be encouraged. The judges were just jealous because they knew that Reece was the only contestant that they couldn't find something bad to say about, so they all just attacked him on this song. Still this performance was way better than a lot of the other contestants. Reece was sure to win, he was untouchable and flawless every week. Mel, Ronan and Natalie are dumb and they contradict themselves; the song might be a love song but it still has a melancholic theme to it and Reece pulled it off perfectly.

I can tell Reece is really scared that he may have blown it with this song. But is also shows him just as a kid, and not a big rock god as some people think of him as. it is really hard for a kid to totally identify with this song when they haven't had very many serious crushes or relationships to compare it to/ I can see by his expression he is holding back his emotions his eyes were glistening a bit. This shows the human side of a young boy. I really do hope you all put him through.

But after coming home and watching it from a different perspective, I actually think he was just really connected to the song, and the song is kind of depressing, so it fits.. The worst part of this performance was having to sit through Mel B's cutting self-righteousness. I think the biggest mistake this show made was putting her on the judges panel. She is a mediocre talent (at best) with a mouth that is constantly spewing tripe. This kid is awesome. He's not a one trick pony. Period.
