Reece swearing during interviews is also one of my favourite things

My favourite person in the world. Love how you wouldn’t think to look at him that he’s one of the darkest minds in comedy. Could listen to him (frustratedly) talk for days on end

Oh Liv, another banger, I was laughing within seconds! I love all the content you make, but I confess that the furious Reece ones are by far my favourite! Also, I suspect the bleeped line from the Elizabeth Gadge commentary was Reece calling the people who say the episode was a misfire "f--king c-nts". Because of course he would! I can imagine a bbc iplayer commentary wouldn't be down with that kind of language, hence the bleep. Can't wait for the next vid, this one made my day! x
@misc.mp4 Жыл бұрын
thank you very glad you enjoy the videos :) i suspect the word cunt was used but from steve’s reaction i think he might have named someone (a reviewer maybe) or maybe i’ve just listened too many times haha
@jealousmaude Жыл бұрын
@@misc.mp4 That was actually my first thought too! He's certainly done it before in one of the live show commentaries, and they bleeped it out. But then on second (and third and fourth!) rewatch, and how Steve's replies with "some of those people, aforementioned, are the fans" which makes me think it was just a general cursing of people on twitter who didn't like it. But specifically using the word "misfire" does make it sound like it was used in a review that pissed him off, doesn't it? Makes me wanna do a deep dive and see if I can find old reviews of the ep!

@@jealousmaude exactly! if you find out please let me know:)

@@misc.mp4 God bless Wikipedia! So the two major detractors of the episode were Rupert Hawksley who wrote for the Daily Telegraph and said it wasn't as effective as La Couchette or Christine and that it was indicative of a "mid-series lull". Then there was some guy called Dan Owen who has a media review page on blogspot and said the ep was predictable and cliched with jokes falling flat and ended by saying it was a "mid-series misstep"... now if that's not what Reece was referring to, then I'll eat my own hat! I'd call him a cunt on my own commentary too! (for the record, there were many positive reviews as well!)

One of the smartest content creators on youtube next to "ImNotNorm". I get to watch a bunch of hilarious Reece clips (Most of which I haven't seen!) based around a very clever title/ theme. Witty spin aswell having it as 9 minutes and nine seconds! Always excited to see what you upload next! Thank you!

I have a genuine question to ask. Is Reece really "furious", or is it all a long lasting joke? He sounds just a tad sarcastic to me, but I don't perceive emotions correctly...
@LegalVampire Жыл бұрын
I think it's a bit of both 😊 It seems to me he's generally a person who gets angry easily but not in a very serious way, and he makes a joke of it or plays into a bit more on talk shows etc.
@EnchantedEssays Жыл бұрын
@@LegalVampire Absolutely. He genuinely gets angry but at the same time he knows it's what the people want to see. He has talked quite a bit about it being cathartic to play angry people
