Bc his CLUTCH game sealing defensive block inside the last 60+ seconds was way TF in the air was absolute proof of his athletic abilities. Hubbard is good, but Sheppard is better. Sheppard is shooting 52 percent from three for the year, Hubbard is shooting 35 percent. And Hubbard doesn't get steals, blocks, assists or rebounds like Sheppard does.

There are about 4 or 5 good guards and 3 or 4 good wings. Spurs will definitely get 1 of each. It all depends who's still there at 4. I'm happy with Sheppard or Topic at 4 unless one of the 2 French guys is still there. It's not the greatest draft at the top 3 but it's a pretty deep class. We might get 2 future starters here. That would give them so much time to build chemistry with Wemby

When you're 6'1-6'2 you need to be quick because you're too small to guard wings, he's slow for a p.g in the nba is the issue. Jimmer Fredette had this same issue.

@@4evahodlingdoge226jimmer was much slower. I think people aren’t correctly processing what they’re seeing with reed and are just stereotyping him because he’s white. His handle isn’t advanced but I think he’s just as quick as a Lowry or a Mike Conley. He’s more bursty than a FVV type player. He doesn’t have the strength yet. He doesn’t get to the rim all that much because of his role and because his handle is meh. But his speed won’t hold him back. Look at the blocks he’s getting. The lift he gets off the ground on those is some elite athleticism.

I said the same thing. I believe it's his confidence. He's no longer THE top dog but on a team with other top dogs and having trouble finding his place. Add to that the fact that he's not super bursty and speedy like Dillingham or has a textbook sweet jumper like Reed, it make you look at yourself differently as a player. Like "Damn, I thought I was good..." I believe his best asset is his handles and ability to use it to get to the rim. However, when he gets there he's not strong, lack burst and craft.

Man DJ gonna be alright. This team is made of scorers. Everyone forgetting DJ dropped 28 earlier in the season too. Everyone forgets what DJ did to UNC. He saved them in that game. Him and Dillinghmam. Then he got injured. Been trying to get back from that. Reed is not the only player that has had his big night. Edwards, Dillingham and Reeves have also had their big game this yr. Maybe next game is Wagners again since hes been in a slump. I said the same thing right before Edwards dropped 28.
