Maybe I'm wrong but if you don't do your knots as close to the plastic parts 3:10 maybe you can avoid the boring step 4:45 to make back ligne shorter 🤔

You're perfectly right, that would make the front lines slightly longer which is equivale t to making the back shorter. İt is a relative thing. Bien vu!

This is nothing less than brilliant ❤

what are example conditions I would want to switch from 24 to 12? What is the value of that if I am not foiling?

Perfect for beginners. And a busy day in Tarifa, maybe?

Honestly it’s mainly for foiling or aggressive low kiteloops

@dragonfistbs It's really a matter of taste, the one thing you must know is that short lines will reduce your low end, so you want to make sure you're powered when you go to shorter lines. (however shortening your line will not allow you to hold a bigger kite). short lines allow for easier take off on jumps when you ride in choppy conditions as you can quikcly send your kite since the flying window is shorter. overall, you should give it a try and you'll see the feeling for yourself!

Wich is the biggest kite where 12m lines are usefull for freestyle? Cheers.

Actually short lines do allow you to hold a bigger kite. The wind gradient is not the same at 22m as at 12m.

I'm curious about the safety flag out with short lines.
@ReedinKites Жыл бұрын
The flagging line will still function to flag your kite when setting the lines like that.

I'm sure the designer was inspired by the IKO method !! For learn to people we use short ligne, and we do like this ! 😉 (We can do that on every market bar so...😅)

Too much work for ‘quickly’ converting your twintip bar to foil bar.. i prefer much more the north approach where the standard lines are 12m+10m. That is much easier to convert to beginner or foil bar.

Totally agree re: line adjustment hassle here , although I definitely love the super skinny grip and the light weight of Reedin’s Dream Bar.
