You need a arch in that tank because almost everything is almost same height (level) it could use something. Do all the tanks from water box have that beautiful blue glow on the bottom front of tank

I would say an urchin over a sand star. I have both and the only problem with the star is it will destroy every bit of life in the sandbed. It eats everything good and bad at a fast pace. Not corals or fish but worms pods that stuff. Tank is looking great.

@@TreasureCorals Sorry for the delay! I have tuxedo urchins and yeah you are right mine as well are always on the glass and rocks. The conches and nasuras snails are what move my sand the most latter being the best. For me though I just vacuum 1/4 of the tank at a time once every other month. Keeps it all white and clean. I have one sand star left and I have to feed it pellets in that tank as it's eaten the sand to new I don't think anything is alive in it anymore.

The tank looks great. Interesting what you said about the background. I have a 6ft X 3ft peninsular which looks completely different than any tank I have had before. Looking at it at 90 degrees you see the room behind the tank but at 45 degrees you get a reflection so it makes the tank look a lot bigger. Coral placement and flow are quite challenging. Any good ideas ? Thanks

@Treasure Corals How do you get those nem to stick and stay in that one small rock? Mine keep moving around.

good question, for whatever reason I always had luck with my nem and its clones. Usually I would give it a nice rock with enough holes and crevices where it can hide to when it wants to (or overnight) and then I position it off to the side in one of the corners of the tank, and make sure there's no flow that hits it directly. Always worked for me, I have a similar setup in my frag tank

How do you keep your nepthea short and fat? Low to the ground with out seeing the big root/stub that u usually see in all nepthea

What wave makers are you using? I have a 5ft as while. A 5 nero and gyro doesn't seem to have the flow you have.

Now that you have SPS in the middle. Will you have to lower the AI Blades to give them sufficient par numbers, or just increase the intensity?

Neither - take a look a couple of videos back where I did a whole set of PAR measurements with some good examples. It is the video on Lighting about 3-4 weeks ago.

Curious, what type of anemone do you have in this tank? That’s not bubble tip is it? *tank looks incredible! All the empty spaces contribute to a much better look! Nicely done!!!

I dunno what happened I saw this tank in 3 different states and tbh my man your sps dominate one I had no idea why you changed it when it was just full of frags you had another one with bigger growths but nothing as impressive as a few of my friends tanks who have massive growth colonies of different acropora sps all branching out. I think you need to keep to 1 and watch it mature and grow else it will never look wild. I changed mine from mixed sps and LPS to a more simple gorgonian leather LPS tank the growths they do filling out space…

Do you still like the lights, I'm hesitating because I see a lot of people complaining about the quality and the spectrum.. Orphek Or4 is going to be released in not even 1 month.. I'm hesitating

I do like these lights, so much that on my new build I'm going exclusively with them. Love the results I get. I believe the spectrum / quality is no longer an issue on the current blades, so whatever issues they had they seem to have been addressed. Can't comment on Orphek as I have never used it myself, but always heard very good things about it and they look like an awesome light.

I want anenome for me clownfish but I’m afraid of it roaming around killing my other corals.

I try to put it on an island surrounded by sand and make sure that it likes where it is at. Not a huge issue for me so far.

@@TreasureCorals They don't roam the over the sand? I did that with my Zoas, put them on their own island so it doesn't spread. If so I may try it!

@@CodeNfX this was always my trick and it seems to work quite well. You still need to make sure that the flow is proper for them, if it is too hard - they'll try to move. But sand usually discourages them.

That tank is way too small for the big doctor fish, you need to search them a new home. Otherwise the tank looks great!
