Had mine since January and found some test kits work better than others, also change the needles when requested by the software. I did not and got a bent needle. Good bit of gear though once you get it set up properly and with the right test kits.

I actually appreciate that it is large. For someone who sucks at DIY, this means more space to work in when i need to replace something. When testers first started coming out, i thought the smaller the better. Then i had to work on it and realized there was barely any space for that.

I have been using Reefbot lab since July 2023. I have it working well now but went through hell the first few months weeding through which test kits worked and which didn't. I would have appreciated if reef Kinetics had been more upfront at the beginning about this

Great points about testing. I had the original Reefbot which wasn't very good suffered bent shrings, app failures, results being way off. This one looks promissing, shame it's the size of an oven :)

Congratulations on getting an equipment review video done. I’m sure this was painful for you! 😂 I had no interest in this device, but it looks quite intriguing now. I do cringe slightly seeing 3D printed components on products like this though and that power supply box hanging off the side would drive my OCD crazy. I hope they continue to refine it, I’ll definitely follow along.

Do you have recommended test kits to use? I like salifert, but it doesn't use all salifert products.

I would be really interested in understanding how much maintenance goes into it. How often do you have to replace the syringes and needles? is it feasible to run no3/po4/ca/I on a daily basis for two weeks without having to replace/refill anything?

Hi Ryan, good video and I've been waiting for this since our convo. Question regarding this product as I asked via Instagram, the one I sent you is the one your using in this video ? Reefbot lab is a rectangular which seems to only do smaller quantity of tests at £1000 mark. Unless this is for a different market ie. USA and we only get the small version in the UK which is named the same ? The one that looks like yours in the video is the pro version which has a hefty price tag of 4-5k. Do you have a link of the one you have ? I'm alittle confused

Nice video, but i don't understand the hate testing gets. I personally enjoy working through it and understanding my tank better. That said, if i had the money. I would 😂😂
