You mention a 20 minute run out of Venice marina. What is that in miles as it depends on fast you were going?

Not entirely sure. If I had to guess I'd say we were running through the passes at about 40mph. It takes a long time to get out of the inshore area if the tides are low and there are areas that you can't get through with big boats. For example, the first two days we were with Captain Scott, and he took longer because there was a shortcut he wouldn't take because he said it was too shallow, but Willie B took that shortcut on the third day (not shown in the episode) because he said he knew it well enough to run it.
