The moment I saw the pills I wanted to punch my hand into the screen and hug him. I have face dysmorphia cause my insecurities and while it’s not the same as this, it has the same obsessive behavior of wanting to be perfect. Its not that they dont know that, its that they cant seem to learn to love themselves regardless. Its not easy especially when you feel depressed and or hopeless, that even with effort you wont change and most dont want to accept their appearance because they want more or better, and worst still some say they accept it but are lying to themselves and others about it and thats just as damaging. Each person is different and so they each need to find their own way, cause living in pain shouldnt be the acceptable method of life, even though thats what oh too many people end up choosing. Knowing you have a problem may be half the battle, but you still have a long way to go.
