God, it seems like just yesterday when I saw this incredible scene in the theater. And ohhh, Sidney! You came to us with such grace and artistry - never considering a role that was not FIT for REAL LIVE Black folk. Like MLK, Malcolm, and so many others...your 'quiet calm on the outside and that fierce strength on the inside' drew us towards our better selves. You could have possibly misunderstood that natural, gentle, open West Indian smile... and underestimated those teeth, at your peril. My dad's side was Jamaican-American. I KNOW this quality well. Thank You ReelBlack, for carrying the journey forward; reminding us to do the same. Rest in Peace Sidney, May we meet at the other side of the Mystery
