As a mixed raced 46yrs black st Vincent and the grenadines women this women is my hero I have so much respect for her and Mary seacole, when my youngest daughter was at school I have 2 daughter's they have left school now, my oldest is 21 and my youngest is turning 18, they never got taught about most inspirational black people in history lessons but her teacher who's white my youngest had an incredible women did teach about these black inspirational people even though she shouldn't have but she wanted her class to no everything about black history, she kept with the bored and teached what she was told like Henry box brown but involved the past about black people history, harriet was one of these that she told her class about including Mary seacole and black tudars, I was so proud when my daughter came home and told me about her teacher teaching her class about these incredible black hero's, her teacher tried to teach bit by bit in each lesson about black history but had to teach and stick with what was asked of her, but she told her class that she had to tell the story's of these incredible black hero's, this teacher was so bubbly and had an amazing personality, at parents evening through video chat I thanked her for including these hero's even though she wasn't ment to, she said I do this because it's important it's history that she wants her class to know, she included many many more black hero's, she said this should be teached any way it's history, she told me to buy a book about black tudars the book has the same name she said it's incredible, what an amazing teacher, we could of talked all night but our time limit wasn't on our side, she was always happy and bubbly and great with her puples not your typical teacher at all, no wonder my daughter and her class adored her and was there favourite teacher, when my daughtper left school her history teacher left to with some other teachers because of how they was treated and because of pay, now she works at a collage, I hope she has found a job that she can teach what she feels is right, what an amazing incredible teacher she was, more teachers should be like this and teach about these black inspirational hero's and not about a couple of black people in history, it should be teached anyway it's apart of history not because there black people because it's HISTORY these incredible black hero's are apart of our HISTORY, ONE LOVE 💙💛💚
