Even as a “mainly” conservative, white guy in his twenties, I find this man to be a phenomenal community leader *FOR HIS ERA!* You don’t have to 100% agree w/ men like Elijiah, WD Fard, or even Malcom X and others to find inspiration in their messages and teachings. Whether they were “legit” or “frauds” (as Hoover and the majority of our agencies/law enforcement swore at the time), these men were at the very least deserving of a little respect for their work as motivational speakers and leaders who changed society. Elijah Muhammad was a master teacher and master psychologist that had great success in undoing the damage that the system of white supremacy inflicts on the collective black mind.
