This is what I keep finding again and again as I grow up. Everything epic in this world is amazingly average and I'm okay with that, it shows me that things in this world are made and designed by people like me. Having to know a lot of acronyms was really more of a 20th Century problem-and yes, in earlier times it did cause me some anxiety at times. Now, you can look up most anything in a few seconds. Now, I use enough of them to be a real PITA.

They used to be big consoles because they housed CRT screens. These days we use banks of LCD monitors. I have to admit I do miss the big consoles. We used to be able to put stuff on them! :-)

Master Man All procedures are electronic but we still use hard copies. And they are located behind our console at CSA. Usually that’s where they end up. This video is the White FCR. It used to be for shuttles. The main ISS room is FCR1. White FCR is used for simulations right now (practice sessions).
