10:28, I haven't seen the original 1999 HxH but I've heard Kite saved him from a bear when he was a kid and used to visit him a lot, he's probably the closest thing to a father figure he has. This was missed from the 2011 version, so I've seen the best way to watch this series is watch the first few episodes from 1999 and then start the 2011 one

Yeah, the manga actually starts with Kite saving gon then explains the amazing thing about Ging. Which is why Gon wants to become a hunter. Aunt Mito never spoke to him about Hunter. Not sure the exact reason why they changed this part of the story.

Kite is the reason why Gon know and want to be Hunter. He is important to the core of the story.

Kite is the one that told Gon about his father in the first chapter of the manga and the 99s anime, he inspired Gon to become a Hunter

Pitou’s instincts aren’t telling her she can’t one shot gon, they are just telling her she shouldn’t. She could annihilate him quite easily.

That’s what I keep telling people because she could still kill him but the thought of putting komugi in any danger goes against the kings orders to protect her

Yeah, pitou can easily kill him, but he know that if he make a little mistake and gon see his intentions komugui would be in danger. And gon notice when pitou finished to heal, so he was reading pitou intentions pretty good

The reason you see Knuckles get shocked when Gon said to keep her hostage, is cause that’s inhumane to do and very against what Gon would normally say or do. The creatures are becoming more human, as the humans aka Gon is becoming more beastly.. Two half’s of the same coin

I honestly would have loved to see a gon and killua tag team fight with Pitou. I feel like their abilities would work perfectly together, with Killua stunning pitou with his electricity and Gon following up with the jajanken. I feel that they could’ve definitely done some damage, especially if they played it smart.
