I love this episode so much because it goes into how Logan meddled in the sibling relationships. It's hilarious whenever I see men react to Tom swallowing his own load because it's so ridiculous and funny.

I’ve been loving these reactions so far! I just finished the show yesterday so this is filling the Succession shaped hole in my life. This episode solidified the show as one of my favourites of all time. Tom’s gag was one of the funniest things ever.

Tom Described "a snowball." I always remembered that term from the movie clerks bc I was like THAT CAN'T BE A THING but I love how knowing that there’s a name for it kinda gave Tom a confidence that maybe he did something cool. but just having it sent back to him you can see all the confidence drain out in .1 seconds despite his valiant attempt to assert "this is..awesome!! [dying inside]"

When Kendall says "I'm not a Roy" he doesn't mean it literally. It's more that the Roy family is basically like the Murdochs and known for spouting/pushing ultra conservative right wing values, and Kendall doesn't agree with his dad when it comes to that stuff so he sees himself as different. You can even see it in stuff like how he treats non-rich people in comparison to the rest of the family. His character is heavily based on James Murdoch (this has been confirmed by the creator), who is like the liberal black sheep of the Murdoch family. Shiv too is sort of supposed to be like Elisabeth Murdoch who is also more liberal.

What Logan did to Kendall was AWFUL but he is not responsible for Kendall's relapse. Kendall made that choice. He had all the power in the world to NOT do what those stories were saying and prove his father wrong. He had the power to not relapse for himself and his own children. And he CHOSE to relapse. That is 100% on him. That doesn't take anything away from how awful what Logan did was.. but the relapse is on Kendall.
