That horn seems to be played ...not completely in tune compared to rest of the track. It seems like the pitch is quite often a miss. Then again, purely analog instrument with no real pitch control, and tis a decent feat.

that is the natural pitch of the horn. brass instruments are tapered exponentially in order to clean up and tune the harmonic series, It is quite difficult to push the pitch hard.
