I NEVER pictured his voice sounding like that! He could do voice acting villain roles!

Sounds as if he’s had too many drinks over time.

He is a heavy smoker have met him a few times over the years always having a cigarette.
@Travybear1989 Жыл бұрын
@@Tweet_Wrestling He smokes a LOT of weed and cigarettes. Back in the day he would ride with RVD and they'd hotbox on their way to the arena. Rick Rude was another heavy smoker as well. None of them really drank much though, Rude would maybe drink one or two beers after a show but wouldn't touch liquor.

I was friends with a referee back in the 80s. Micky J, he was full of stories. He was also a jobber. I really enjoyed this interview. Getting a back stage perspective

I’ve seen a lot of wrestling shoot videos and this is one of my favorites surprisingly. I didn’t realize how cool mike cuioda is

The wwe missed a trick by not using Mike in more roles. He's got some natural charisma that is great for story telling

Chioda has more charisma than 95% of the talent these days. Much rather listened to him tell stories about his experiences than anything going on with current product without a doubt I hope Disney doesn’t buy WWE. I’d rather just see the company fall apart and cease to exist rather than Disney buy it and shame all the male wrestlers and use it as another way to destroy the strong image of men.

All I hope for is that every single show, house show and ppv from the 70's all the way to 2008 gets uploaded. Idk why in the hell they are not focusing on vintage content.

Another great interview, you let the conversation breathe for as long or as short as the guest wants. As Larry King said, "I never learned anything while I was talking". You should interview Barry Horowitz. He's still active, and a really solid dude.

This was one of the more compelling episodes James. Hearing Chioda's POV of the business is interesting, it's unusual to hear from a seasoned ref. I'd love a part 2 brother

Awesome to hear and see Chioda. I've watched the dude for... a very long time 😆 when he actually puts it into perspective how long he's been around, yeah wow, it hits ya. I've watched Chioda's trajectory over 25+ years

This was pretty cool to find out they had a Weed Tax while the drunks got away free and clear. I had always thought the ear piece was around a lot longer. I seem to remember Nick Patrick or NWA or WCW refs having them much earlier. Interesting how he is happy to work Ultimate Warrior as easy match. I would never want to try jumping out of ring so him injuring himself only confirms that belief. I like how he recalls them being overly into the rules or other aspects. How got into what the hand signals meant before the more modern methods. John Cena being very loud calling out the moves. The Euro Trips or Ribbing charging rooms. I nearly puked trying to eat my Bake Fusilli about the crap Beef Stew Sunny Story for Real :).
