Referencing using quotation marks

Great question. There should be a mixture of direct quotes (where you use quotation marks) and paraphrasing. Paraphrasing (where you include a reference, but not a quote) demonstrates your understanding. So, there should be more paraphrasing.

I use harvard refencing, I'm not an expert in APA. If you have used this before, do what you would have done in the past.

Can I use Grammarly for avoiding grammatical mistakes?

I would not use grammarly. YOu have not control over what happens to the work you upload for checking. It is possible that this nmight be reused by others. If you write in straight forward, short sentences you should not have too many dificulties with grammer. Using the tools in microsfot word is good (grammar and spell check).

How do i go about referncing annual reports??

In the Reserach report you will use (Company name, year) to indicate the Annusal Report. In the reference list you will Comapny Name, year "name of the annual review" available from URL of where you downloaded it from. As you will be using 3 years worth of data there will be 3 Annual reports

Another unrelated question. So I started writing my project at the beginning of this year nut unfortunately couldn't meet up submission deadline for March. I would be able to meet up November. My question is, I was using march 2021,2022 and 2023 and June 2021,2022 and 2023 data at the beginning when I started . Will this have to change because of am submitting in Nov. Cause they will have fs of 2024.

Another question is whether it is acceptable to use 2020 data for just the calculation of growth ratios since I am not considering that year for the research report? And could I ref things in their 2024 annual report, for example, an information that is stated in their 2023 report but not in detail as it is in 2024 report .

@bscappliedaccounting7796 what do you mean by name of annual report . Do you mean whether 10- k or 8-k ??
