Why hasn't Epson made an ecotank version of the WF-7840, or at least used the same print head in an ecotank? The resolution of the WF-7840 is 2400, while the most expensive ecotank is only 1440, plus the WF is a lot faster at pumping out 13x19 pages. I put in an order for a European WF-7840dtwf and plan to use a CISS using an auto reset chip, but I'm still using genuine Epson T542 inks because it looks better than most 3rd party inks. Epson really should put their 7840 print head in an ecotank model, that would have saved so much time and hassle, plus Epson of America would have gotten my money instead of some 3rd party outlet in the UK who (thankfully) agreed to ship directly to me.

I just love this printer and it 😮does not use ink.

Doesn't use cartridges. Still uses ink. Ink fills up in a tank like it's an inkling
