honestly thinking back on this I used to think "why demo as spamton"?" but know it makes more sense when you realize demoman is pretty eratic and unstable, similar to Spamton. And the trapping theme as in you're walking into his trap by giving him the horseman's body is another reason why he might've been chosen.
