unfortunately if you stop that will only help top luxury brands to slaughter more animals. Please check luxury products YSL, Coach, Burberry, Mulberry etc which uses only animal skin especially cow and calf in making bags and sells them for over 3-4lakhs

With all due respects here is what is wrong with the provided information by Acharya ji, 1. Acharya ji mentioned that cows will die if they are not milked. Wrong! Cows in the wild don’t die after giving birth if they are not milked. The cow produces just enough milk for its calf. Excess milk is produced by domestic cows that are injected with hormones that promote milk production. This is one example of cruelty that happens in the dairy industry. For humans greed the cow is injected with drugs and definitely true if these cows are not milked on a timely basis they can die. Question is why promote this at all? 2. Cows will be sent to the slaughter house if they are not used for dairy. Wrong! Why not think of a way to fund cow shelters instead? All the cows not used for dairy can be in the shelter till they die of natural causes. Here in the dairy industry the cow first spends half its life producing milk for humans and then when they finally cant produce anymore milk they are sent to slaughter houses. Double hinsa! Totally against the Jain principles of non violence. And those people drinking milk are a part of this. 3. Environmental problems: Cow farms for dairy and then for beef emit the max amount of greenhouse emissions. Conveniently this point was not even raised. 4. Milk was consumed by our ancestors and its totally fine for us to do so. Wrong! We dont live in the ancient times. Cows dont live the same lives they used to live 2000 years ago. This is a time when even the bones of the cow is used in refining sugar. The white sugar everyone loves and eats is refined using bone char. Not a single part of the cow is spared. All this begins with the dairy industry. 5. All animals drink milk since they are born Huh! Animals only drink their own mothers milk and that too till they reach a certain age. Humans are the only beings that consume milk of other animals. Its strictly prohibited to give milk to dogs in the west. Adult Dogs are not designed to digest milk. 6. Oh but we need milk for calcium Wrong! Excess milk only depletes calcium from the body. There is a huge study based on this and can be looked online. More than 70% of the people in the world are lactose intolerant. Figure that out. Our bodies are not designed to digest milk. All these points will only be overlooked and the people drinking milk will continue doing so because its convenient for them. Its just like non vegetarian people cannot give up eating meat. You need to be extremely conscious and listen to reasoning without bias. Only true followers of Ahimsa can understand why milk is so violent in so many ways.

Pratik, I live abroad and I was of the same opinion but when I visited the product making of the top luxury brand and saw the procedure to produce bags and shoes using cow and calf skin because the cow owners sell their cows to these companies and make money as almond and soy milk replacing cow's milk so it was a cost with no income for them. I realized the whole vegan concept is a boon for the luxury industry and animals still being killed at the end of the day

No, you can't because when you kill them it doesn't give the animal or the calf any joy. Also if you think about the use of animals by killing and eating then my friend you're on the wrong track. Check out the slaughter in the fashion industry to produce luxury bags and shoes. Removing the milk from animals is a necessity for him to survive, definitely using the right technique and method which is not harmful to animals.
