3 things you did negative to this board, adding feet make it non reversible, adding a juice grove gives it a place for bacteria to grow much harder to clean, making it smaller, 3 things you did good, planer both sides making it flat again, round over the edges, covering with new mineral oil. the wood to me looked like maple and oak.

Ewe, you reverse it instead of washing it? I'd much rather have feet and keep it from collecting moisture/bacteria under it.

It doesn't need to be reversible, matter of preference, and those blood/juice grooves are done so well, very much like Boos Blocks does theirs, that they are easy to keep clean. It's all good.

Great video. Few small things I personally would have done, are wet the board down to raise the grain and then re sand for a smoother finish, and I wouldn't have put the feet on before applying the oil. These are just personal preferences.
