David is the most legendary game programmer on this planet. I am still amazed how his games are so future-defining, ever since I've been introduced to Elite at my early childhood. The games he makes stand out because they keep working on the most common hardware, and any hardware upgrate makes the game only more enjoyable. Rarely can you see such brilliant engineering culture, able to produce games even your children will be enjoying playing. Respect to David John Braben, many songs shall be written in his glory!

I loved the way they showed the wrong version of Elite on the Beeb. I think that version was the PC version.

I've been playing Frontier's Amusement park simulation games since Roller Coaster Tycoon(1) and still play Planet Coaster since launch. My question for David Braden is where is Planet Water Park? Can it be a Planet Coaster DLC? What about Planet Cruise Ship? Or Planet Casino? Just a long term fan here commenting on an interview video that was posted a month ago.

David should be focusing on Elite, first and foremost. It has most potential of all Fdev games, it's his child and his best game. Right now the game is pretty much dying and needs his vision and genius to come back alive.

It’s unfortunate that Frontier Developments became a PLC and shifted focus away from developing Elite Dangerous. Elite Dangerous had the potential to be an outstanding game, but shareholders often prefer to minimise risk with a diverse portfolio of games. A subscription-based model would have been better for Elite Dangerous, as cash shops deter many players and prevent games from becoming mainstream. Cash shops are off-putting for most people, and rightly so.
