I really love jed. When he first won in WCOPA, if im not mistaken t'was in 2005, i started following him, i imagined him inviting me out for dinner, and sing our lungs out after in karaoke. Hahaha. I named my son after him. Lea Salonga is my ultimate love, although i only watched her performance in youtube but im really so proud of her. She is really a genius and master of her craft. I dont know if the Philippines would have another Lea Salonga in this lifetime. Katrina is great in her own way and style. Lea Salonga is a world class Musical Theater performer, a Disney Princess legend singing the voices of both Princess Jasmine in Aladdin and Mulan in the original movies of Disney so she is singing it the way in Musical Theater style who also is a very intelligent singer who definitely knows how to use her voice in delivering a song aside from having perfect crystal clear tones, vibrato and pronunciation. The original Kim in the broadway musical Miss Saigon which earned her a Tony award. Lea Salonga is one of the best in musical theater who also played both Eponine, Fantine roles in Les Miserables as well as a primary role in the musical CATS who sang the song MEMORY. Lea Salonga is a league of its own, which to me is incomparable to anyone here having her very own singing style. While Katrina gave a very ORIGINAL AND POWERFUL POP VERSION which is EXCELLENT and really made it her very own version of the song, THE NEXT BIG THING, if she will be given a big break and can make it internationally. She currently has one of the best voices in the world, try listening to her version of NEVER ENOUGH, which to me is much better than the original singer of the same song. Jed is good, but just didn’t impress me, not because he doesn’t know how to deliver but im just not into his style of singing.
