Honestly, we would much rather you download it for free and share it with your friends than having you pay for it. Hey, so I was wondering if it would be at all possible to have an instrumental version of this song? Not because I don't like the vocals, but because Glittershell is on of my favorite tumblrs and means a lot to me, and Discord Whooves is my friend's favorite tumblr and I think it would be really cool to try and convince him to do a cover of this song with me.

Question, You turned this into a gift for Jitterbugjive, but was the original song actually supposed to depict an abusive relationship?

I originally wrote the song about my thoughts and my rather well publicized hatred of mirrors (and photographs). It was far more angry and personal and I eventually decided not to release it. Anyway, when I was looking for more songs to write, I decided I wanted to keep the theme of hating one's reflection, and thought that Discord Whooves would be a perfect candidate for it. However, I then decided that Glittershell would be perfect candidate for it too (especially since I had already written a poem inspired by the comic "Matching"). In the end, I decided to make it about both of them (because why choose?) and I dubbed it my Tumblr song, since those two blogs are the only reason I even have one. It only became a gift for Jitterbugjive when I realized (as I was posting) that his birthday had literally just happened and I thought he'd appreciate it. Still, it's as much of a gift for Kryptchild as it is for him, and both of them are awesome people ^_^ -thedarkprep
