Exi(s)t was the album that made me a fan in high school, and introduced me to djent. TFE redux was an absolute blessing, but I was thinking that these songs were even more aligned with the modern Reflections sound. Damn, this takes me back lol.

I'm friends with Jake on Facebook and here's what he said about the missing songs: "also, for those asking why just an EP and not the entire record we decided to revamp the songs that were either primarily or entirely written/constructed by myself and pat. charles absolutely crushed on exist and gave an incredible performance. he wrote the songs my cancer, candle, this house, stories through storms and exist entirely on his own instrumentally. at most, all i did was some drumming/structure adjustments here and there if any at all, mostly it was just minor drum and minute structure changes to the track this house, as that song was really important to both of us. and while we’d absolutely love and be happy to give those tracks a new spotlight, it isn’t something we’d ever do without charles to record his parts or against his wishes."

​​@@down2earth485they didn't really depart on good terms but they made up in like late 2021/early 2022 if memory serves. So a Charles collab isnt out of the realm of possibility, hopefully they can get him in the studio/get the go ahead to refinish the rest.

Vain words is a GOAT Rflctns song. I still think the OG is alpha, but I can hear some intricacies and melodic parts that put a refresh on the track. Definitely the fidelity on the drums, and some added complexity. I do miss the OG cleans on vocals tho.

Love this is got a redux. My favorite djent album of all time. Is it me or is the bass drum cranked up a little too much in the mix. I had to turn my bass off to hear the rest of the mix. Maybe it's just my car.
