Service to others - both human and animal - is the greatest calling for any human being. You have not served one, but both - and in your service, created the opportunity for each to serve the other. That is work which is supremely gifted. Thank you for all those you have helped.

Al - Congratulations on all of your achievements. I can honestly say that you have helped to change not only the lives of all of the organization's clients but you also helped me grow and develop my skills. I will always be grateful for that and I wish you the best in whatever your future holds! 😎

Amazing legacy, amazing compassion, vision. We'll miss you too Al, and thanks for building independence and community for so many. I have cherished my time on the board and as a donor under your "reign" and feel personally responsible for ensuring we continue meeting our mission.

Al, congratulations. I know your retirement is bittersweet. You have been an amazing visionary and leader for Can-D0-Canines. You will be missed in ways people can’t imagine. I think back to our days at SMU in our Human Development groups. We were young, idealistic, enthusiastic 18 year olds wanting to make a difference in the world. Al, you have made a HUGE difference. I am proud of you and lucky to call you my friend. Also I know there is a lot of “giving” left in your heart. I can’t wait to see what you do next. Be well. Greg

Congratulations Al, you deserve it but to me it won't be the same without you. For years I talked to you on John Henry's World's Finest Chocolate answering service for Hearing & Service Dogs, then I finally said, Al I'm a clown and would love to do anything I can to help, from that point on I was at the annual walks. I will miss you dearly! Sparkplug
